Welcome to the start of your journey towards a beautifully straight smile.
Welcome to our Open Day
You will meet with our treatment coordinator in a non-clinical setting. They will discuss your medical and dental history and go through a smile questionnaire to help us get an understanding of your concerns and build a picture of your requirements.
Your 3D iTero scan
One of our friendly team members will scan your teeth using our state-of-the-art 3D iTero technology, no more sticky moulds! Following this, we will provide you with an estimate of the treatment duration, associated costs, and outline the various payment plans we have available.

Your free consultation
After your scan, our specialist orthodontist will discuss your personalised treatment plan, show you a 3D simulated image of how your teeth will look after Invisalign treatment and answer any questions you might have. This helps you to decide whether you want to go ahead with treatment.
Ready to go ahead?
If you decide that Invisalign treatment is for you, our treatment coordinator will provide further information and our specialist will design and order your Invisalign aligners.
Start wearing your aligners
When your Invisalign aligners are ready, we will show you how to fit and remove them. We will also explain how to clean and look after them. You should wear your aligners for 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat meals and snacks, and to clean them twice a day.
Regular visits with your orthodontist
We will schedule regular appointments to enable your dental team to check the progress of your treatment and adjust your plan if required. This gives you the opportunity to ask us for advice and help if required, too.
Smile maintenance
Once your treatment is complete, we will take clinical photos to compare your before and after results. You will receive retainers and whitening as part of your Invisalign package; your orthodontist will explain how often these should be worn to maintain your new smile.

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a clear, removable orthodontic system that is designed to fit around your lifestyle.
No brackets, no wires, just a series of clear aligners that gently and comfortably move your teeth into the desired position over time. Easy to wear, simple to keep clean, and removable for eating meals… Invisalign will seamlessly fit around your daily routine.

How does Invisalign work?
At Treehouse Dental, your Invisalign journey in Crouch End starts with a digital scan that we use to show you a simulated image of how we expect your teeth to look at the end of treatment. Our patients find this a really useful tool!
If you decide to go ahead with Invisalign treatment, your orthodontist will provide you with a series of clear aligners. Each one is worn for two-to-three weeks, and they will work gently to move your teeth into the desired position.
You will regularly visit your orthodontist during your treatment time so that they can provide you with your next set of aligners and continually check your progress.

How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign works by using a series of clear aligners that are used in sequence to safely and gently straighten your teeth. You will regularly see your Treehouse Dental orthodontist in Crouch End to receive your new aligners and continually assess your treatment.
Can you show me Invisalign before and after pictures?
We have a vast array of Invisalign before and after images that we can share with you during your free consultation. Some of these will show similar starting points to your own and these can be really useful to help you visualise your own proposed outcome.
Is Invisalign worth it?
We think so! Not only is Invisalign an investment into the appearance of your smile and confidence, it also has a huge benefit on the health of your teeth and gums. A straight smile is easier to keep clean as there are fewer places for bacteria to hide and plaque to build.
Does Invisalign treatment hurt?
Invisalign treatment can make your teeth ache a little at first, especially when a new aligner is fitted. This eases quite quickly, and all of our patients manage it with over-the-counter painkillers, such as paracetamol.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Every Invisalign journey is unique and the time taken to complete treatment depends on your own individual needs. Some patients will only require 12 weeks of treatment, while others will need 18 months. We will give you a proposed treatment time during your free consultation.
Am I suitable for Invisalign treatment?
Suitability for Invisalign treatment will depend on your own unique needs. Our specialist orthodontist will be able to advise whether aligner treatment is appropriate for you or whether alternative treatment would be more suitable.
